Simple     Bright    Classic

An heirloom portrait is a carefully composed work of art, capturing the essence of a loved one with timeless grace. Every detail—from expression and lighting to the arrangement of features—is thoughtfully refined to create a portrait that feels both intimate and enduring. Designed to be cherished across generations, it serves not just as a visual keepsake, but as a lasting tribute to personal legacy and connection.

Linda Nichols Photography introduced The Fine Art Studio, creating heirloom portraits, in 2019, when parents started asking for photos that matched those of themselves and other generations that they saw hanging in homes.

About Heirloom Portraits

"We loved our experience working with Linda! She was responsive and personable.  The end result is gorgeous and hanging in our living room!"

What's included?

The Heirloom Session includes a 45 minute sitting. This allows time to get ready, settle in, and for me to photograph several different angles of your child. The sitting fee also includes a proof gallery of up to 5 portraits mock ups in both color and black and white as well as other photos take during your session. You will get to decide which images you like best and create the masterpiece you'd like to have. Using the images in your gallery, you will also be able to create your own composites. Each gallery has an online shop from which you can purchase frames, prints, and digital works of art.

Please email me to receive the fine art look book and pricing guide.

Frames

Heirloom sessions were created so people could have portraits of their children that they could hang on their wall and pass down from generation to generation.  Part of your sitting fee includes a studio consultation to help you select a frame that you and your family are sure to enjoy for a lifetime.

I work very closely with the local framer, Frameworks Gallery in East Cobb.  They are a family owned business that has been around for 50 years.  Below are two of the most popular frames.
